10th Aug saw the arrival of the Retro Blackpool Belle for the Airshow.
Two DRS class 68's arrived about 12:07 pm on Platform 2 with staff serving real ales by hand-pump, the only one of it's type in Britain. The train took the rail revelers to Blackpool North station, for the airshow and heritage trams.
Greated by volunteers from BFRUA, Poulton and Wyre Railway Society, Blackpool Council the town crier Barry McQueen and others.
The airshow had been cancelled due to the unseasonable weather but this did not stop the passengers making their way down to the beach front to snap away at the heritage trams and grab a bite to eat.
