Passengers gave great reviews and positive feedback for the first music train on the South Fylde Line in several years.
Tony Benedict and Alan Pill performed live and faultlessly nestled at the front of a two car Pacer train for passengers from Preston Station bound for Blackpool South.
Passengers boarded looking a little perplexed to start hearing the sweet sounds of music emulating from the Pacer's doors and windows.
Once on board they were greeted with hits from the 60's and a recently written track for the Music Festival.
Passengers gave glowing responses to the music being played throughout the train set as it rolled and bounced along the line to Blackpool.
Freinds from Andsell & Fairhaven, Squires Gate and St Annes on Sea were also in company with Simon Clarke from Community Rail Lancashire (CRL).
From CRL Website: Tony Benedict is a founder member of the Kings of Swing. Born in Leeds and now living in St Anne’s on Sea, Tony won the Leisure Parcs ‘Newcomer of the Year’ award in 2002 for his work singing with the Blackpool Tower Big Band. St Anne's music festival is a three day event (26, 27, 28 July) of Family Friendly Music and Arts on two stages in Ashton Gardens. Food stalls and other areas of interest will be in the park.
